06 May New 3D printing technology is promising to revolutionize the industry

The 3D prototyping could be soon revolutionized through the introduction of a new technology capable of printing objects at a pace 25 to 100 times faster than it was possible. At issue is CLIP (Continuous Liquid Interface Production), technology that has just now been launched by the start-up company Carbon 3D. Unlike the 3D printing until now known, which prints layer by layer, CLIP manipulates light and oxygen to work the resin, bringing to the table a tunable photochemical process capable of reducing the manufacture time by eliminating the layer-by-layer effect.
